Our protest of Health Care |
![]() Jim Casey & Jim Edwards making a difference. After an important vote to congratulate the New York Yankees for winning the World Series. Most of the Representatives came out our door and got into their limo's just to the left of the steps. Many were happy with our signs and smiled or gave us the thumbs up and others just looked down at the ground and walked by. Congressman Bob Latta from Bowling Green, Ohio came up and talked to us for 10 minutes. Also, Aaron Schock, the youngest guy in the House, spoke to us for a long while, Jim Casey said he may need his name to send him money, he just laughed and said "send it to congress % the youngest congressman. "He said he would get it!" |

| At the end of the day, we both were glad we had driven 6 hours to protest for 3 hours because our congressman, John Boccierri defied his party and voted against Health Care. buttttt It still passed. |
![]() Pretty well says it all! We left Louisville at 5 am and got home at 3 am the next morning, we were Bushed! The signs cost us $137. Without them, the trip would have been useless. Many, many impressions were made by them. We would definitely do it again. |
