Tabboomas Reunion Oct. 04 St. Louis

Short Overview: We met at the Embassy Suites Airport in St. Louis, we met for drinks and dinner in the atrium. Yancey's friend, Suzanne Craig, bought appetizers for the whole group in honor of Yancey. Thru the weekend, we had 3 separate toasts to Yancey and his contagious spirit. We are getting old, most were in rooms by 11:00 pm but Wilson & Gwillim stayed up the latest.

Saturday, we met for breakfast, then took a hotel shuttle for Historic Saint Charles, Missouri. The reclaimed area has brick lined streets with 20 restaurants, antiques stores, craft stores, Winery of the Little Hills, many specialty shops and the Ameristar Casino. Several went downtown on the Metro to see the St. Louis Arch. Later, all 20 of us had dinner at Kreis's Steak House. Sunday morning it was goodbyes. The Embassy Suites were awesome. With free breakfasts and free unlimited drinks for 2 hours every night, we definitely got our money's worth.

We had such a great time that Harry Bibb is looking into a trip (not a reunion) to the mountains of Italy. He has great rates on a Villa in the ?????? region overlooking????

Sidenote: Glenna and Vern Walton received the flowers we sent and really appreciated the thoughtfulness.
