| About 30 miles east of Cairo, we had to cross the Suez Canal. I was excited to see the ships, but we took a tunnel under it and never saw a thing. |

| Half way across the 160 mile desert, we stopped at this rest stop. |

| I had to let Mary see the toilets, a 4" hole in the white ceramic
floor. Not quite what we were familiar with. Everyone was laughing. |
